The Contacta V15-UK is a highly efficient constant current, single output Hearing Loop Driver. It’s suitable for medium sized facilities and venues such as meeting rooms, classrooms, care homes, waiting rooms, and lecture halls.

The V15-UK has a Class-D amplifier output stage and the audio subsystem is built around an advanced DSP core. When combined with the powerful CPU, this ensures peak performance at all times. The V15 uses cutting edge technology proven in the pro audio world to achieve life-like speech reproduction and incredible music quality.

It also features a simple user interface consisting of a backlit LCD display and a single control dial, which makes adjusting the unit simple and straightforward. In addition to an ultra-efficient power utilisation of up to 90%, as well as a sleep mode for power conservation.

Inside the unit there are integrated protection circuits with temperature, voltage, short circuit and DC detection. Internal circuitry also features DSP controlled AGC (automatic gain control), and high frequency compensation for metal loss, allowing the unit to perform even in environments where other loop amplifiers may struggle.
