The Contacta RL–HLD3 is a superb Home Loop System Kit, ideal for use in domestic situations or for small areas such as TV rooms in care homes. The system comes as a complete kit and enables hearing aid users to listen to audio direct from a given source; the most popular use is to provide a connection to televisions. The integrated advanced audio processing ensures the best possible audio quality resulting in outstanding sound quality ideal for enhancing speech and providing great clarity to music.

The amplifier supplied in the kit is the sleek Contacta HLD3 and there is also a compact IL-PL21 Boundary Microphone included to pick up audio in the room. The HLD3 also has several other audio input possibilities as listed below, so there should be a way to connect to virtually any audio source within a domestic or small commercial situation. The included Loop Pad can be placed in a convenient location to allow a personalised area of coverage, or there is a reel of cable included to allow for a small room to be covered by laying it round the perimeter.

Please be advised that the cable will need to be securely fixed to avoid any trip hazards so we always recommend using a suitably qualified person for cable installations. Inputs into the system include microphone in, stereo in and an optical input to allow unrivalled quality free from distortion or interference. It even comes with a 3.5mm Auxiliary & Optical Cable, alongside the required PSU for use in the UK.
