The Contacta RMM1 Remote Monitoring Module is an accessory for HLD7 and HLD9 Large Area Hearing Loop Drivers. It monitors a number of events that can activate the automatic alarm, such as loop aerial disconnections, power failure, communication failure or overheating.

The RMM1 is designed to provide remote visual indication and control for up to two HLD7 or HLD9 units in standalone configurations, or one pair of HLD7s or HLD9s in a phased array configuration. It can adjust both the drive levels and loop output levels via an embedded web service. This can be done from both desktop and mobile devices, eliminating the need for an engineer to return to the location of the drivers and therefore avoiding expensive call out fees.

The RMM1 essentially acts as a self monitor for the HLD7 or HLD9, and will even send an email alert should a fault arise. This way you’ll know about any problems with your Loop System instantaneously, giving you a window of opportunity to get it back up and running.
