The Contacta IL–PL30 is a small omnidirectional Boundary Microphone, designed for direct placement onto the surface of a desk or counter. An ideal addition for use with the IL-PL20 Portable Loop System to provide an additional audio input source. It can pick up audio from multiple sources thanks to its omnidirectional pick-up pattern, so if you have a situation where several people are speaking it ensures that all this gets fed into the Loop System.

It is also ideal for picking up any ambient noise in a room such as a telephone ringing or a doorbell being pressed, or even the audio from a TV; making it a handy item in any domestic solution. This microphone performs best when used on a flat surface such as a table or counter top.
