The Contacta IL–A42 is an Integrated Hearing Loop Driver for the IL-EL42-L, which is designed to be integrated into third party manufacturer’s equipment. It provides an integral solution to machines and equipment requiring a Hearing Loop.

The unit has a 3.5mm TRS Audio Jack input, along with a 2.54mm Euroblock Screw Terminal as well. This allows you to connect a wide variety of audio equipment as required.

The IL-A42 features AGC (Automatic Gain Control) which means it self adjusts to accommodate variations in input level. It is a constant current loop drive with low power consumption – in additiom to an ohmically isolated audio line input. Internal LED indicators display any drive or loop fault conditions, thereby identifying issues quickly and efficiently.

The frequency response is compliant with IEC 60118-4 (in correct installations) but please note that if power from the host system is not available, then a separate power lead is required (which is not included with the system).
